Sylfirm X - RF Microneedling
Sylfirm X is a radiofrequency microneedling treatment that combines thermal and mechanical action to tighten and tone the face and body, and regenerate collagen fibers.
RF Microneedling is a cutting-edge, minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that combines the benefits of traditional microneedling with the added power of radiofrequency energy. This treatment is designed to rejuvenate the skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, tighten loose skin, and improve overall skin texture and tone.
During an RF Microneedling treatment, tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. As the needles penetrate the skin, they deliver radiofrequency energy deep into the dermis. This process stimulates the body’s natural healing response, promoting the production of collagen and elastin, the key proteins responsible for youthful, firm skin.
Most patients notice an improvement in their skin’s texture and firmness within a few weeks of treatment. Optimal results are usually achieved with a series of 3–4 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments may be recommended to sustain the results.

How to prepare for your treatment:
We may provide you with pre- / post-care products.
- You must quit taking Accutane for 6 months prior to treatment
- Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least two weeks before treatment. Use sunscreen with a high SPF to protect your skin.
- Stop all topical acids (like glycolic, alpha, or beta hydroxy acids), retinol, Retin-A, or other like products at least one week before the treatment
- Avoid alcohol, aspirin, advil, and aleve (blood thinners) (Tylenol is ok) within 72 hours of treatment
- Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or hair removal creams in the area of treatment within 72 hours of treatment
- Inform your provider about any medications you are taking
- Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your treatment to keep your skin well-hydrated. We typically recommend clients drink pedialyte or another form of electrolytes two weeks prior to treatment. This will help keep your body hydrated and help with results
- If you have a history of fever blisters, take antiviral medication starting 1 day prior and follow the directions on your prescription.
- Keep your skin clean and well-moisturized leading up to the treatment day. You can pre-treat with hyaluronic acid as a moisturizer for two weeks before treatment.
- Arrive at your appointment with a clean face, free of makeup, lotions, or other skincare products.
- Make sure you eat/drink before coming to the medspa.
For all face treatments, we take photos. This is to track the progress of the treatment.
After Care:
We may provide you with pre- / post-care products.
- A certain degree of discomfort, redness, or irritation during and after treatment is expected.
- Tiny scabs (less than 1mm in diameter) may form 24-72 hours post-treatment and remain for several days. The scabs should not be touched or scratched (even if they itch) and should be allowed to shed naturally.
- During the first two days following treatment, care should be taken to prevent trauma to the treated site: avoid hot baths, massage, irritating skin care products or exfoliants, etc. The skin should be kept clean to prevent contamination or infection; mechanical or thermal damage to the area must be avoided.
- Keeping your skin moisturized after the treatment
- You may have mild swelling for 1–3 days after your treatment. Patients may apply an ice pack (NOT direct ice) to the irritated area for 1–2 days in approximately 15-minute sessions 3–4 times per day.
- Redness for 1–3 days is common.
- Makeup can be applied 12 hours after treatment.
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure or tanning beds for at least two weeks after the treatment, as the skin that was treated will be more sensitive to the sun.
- Use a minimum of SPF 30 daily to protect your skin after treatment.
- Always stay hydrated and drink plenty of water
