Nail FungusIt can provide immediate relief for patients who suffer from this condition

Nail fungus occurs with the overpopulation of yeast and mold bacteria in the nail and surrounding areas.

These microbes are part of the dermatophytes strand, which means they are a form of fungi bacteria.

They can regenerate rapidly, and if left untreated, they can cause unwanted side effects.

Thankfully, fungi bacteria are sensitive to laser light therapy.

Nail FungusAfter Care Tips

After-care for light therapy treatment of nail fungus is important to prevent the recurrence of the infection. It is recommended that patients take measures to keep the nails clean and dry, as well as avoid trauma to the nails. Avoiding activities that could damage the nails, such as using harsh chemicals or subjecting them to excessive heat or cold is highly recommended. In addition, light therapy should be used in combination with oral antifungal medication to ensure complete eradication of the infection. With proper treatment and aftercare, light therapy can be an effective way to treat nail fungus.

Nail FungusFAQs

How soon will I be able to see improvement to my toenails or fingernails after treatments?
That depends on the type of infection you have. If it’s at “the root,” then as early as 3 weeks; however a continuous improvement in nails may not occur until after 1 month and continued growth outwards can last up to 2-3 months total.
What are the benefits of using laser treatment over drug treatment?
There are many health risks associated with oral antifungal medications. Laser treatment is completely drug-free, meaning it does not impose all the risk factors that come along with taking these drugs orally!
How many sessions will be needed?
After a single session, you can expect significant improvement in your skin. To achieve optimal results we recommend three or four treatments spaced 5-6 weeks apart so that all fungi spores are eliminated from the body and no new ones grow back!
